Have you ever had someone say, 'Hey, if you ever need any help, just let me know.'? Then you take them up on the offer by saying something like, 'Ya, I could use a little help 3 days a week for an undetermined number of years. Thanks!'
Now you won't read about the business tactic in any book I know of. If it is in a book, it should be in a chapter about how hang out with your dad a few days a week. I've told him he can stop coming in whenever he wants, but he keeps showing up, so I think he likes it too.
